Snappy Little Card Wallets
I'm so excited to show you the newest addition to my inventory! These little card wallets are so fun to make, and equally as fun to carry. They're just perfect for carrying business cards or traveling light with just an ID and credit cards. I'm getting so anxious to open up shop that I can hardly stand it. Hopefully I'll be able to announce my grand opening in the next week or two, so keep your eyes peeled for great deals!

Adding to the list...
As if I don't have enough on my plate with my grand opening coming up and only 9 weeks until my son is expected to arrive, I've found one more thing to add to my craft list. I stumbled on this fantastic tutorial tonight for a reusable crocheted "swiffer sock." After looking at the pattern, it looks pretty simple, but I imagine it might take quite a bit of time to complete. I think it would be worth its weight in gold, though with all of the money it would save, not to mention the fact that there's nothing to throw away. What's even better is that it's reversible so you can use it to both sweep and mop!

Business Card Poll
As I gear up for my grand opening I've been finalizing artwork, patterns, designs, etc. The one thing I'm having a hard time deciding on is my business card design. So I thought I'd open up a poll to see which one you like best to help me decide on the final design. If you feel so inclined, please enter your vote in the poll on the right. I would greatly appreciate your vote and any comments you may have on any of the designs.

New Design
I'm so excited to show you the newest design that I will be adding to the inventory in my new shop once it's open (hopefully in just a few weeks.) This is my rendition of the fold-over clutch that is gaining popularity. Fast.

This is not my favorite fabric since it was just a prototype, but I'm in L.O.V.E.! It's approximately 9 inches wide by 5 inches tall folded, has a flat bottom so it will stand on its own and closes with a magnetic snap. Quick, easy, to the point. Just enough room for the essentials for a night on the town or a casual day out and about.

Craft Space
I always love seeing other people's craft spaces, mainly because I'm always looking for ways to improve mine! Hubby and I just remodeled my space due to a certain expectant baby taking over my previous space so, I thought I would join in the fun and share my space with you!

As you can see, it's rather small and fairly simple, but it serves its purpose well and I absolutely love having all of my supplies in one place now. Prior to the remodel, all of my office related things were in a separate room, so when it came to shipping an item I would have to run all over the house to get everything together.

With my new shelves I was able to fold and display my fabrics to make them easily accessible as well as organize all of my tools and some of my inventory. I have lots more fabric to fold and display, but first I'll need to reorganize a bit, as I recently purchased 35+ yards of new fabric and won't have space to put it all on the same shelf with the current layout.

A closer look shows where I hang some of my thread, tools and templates along with the super cute, crafty wall clock that I just made.
I fashioned this cutey out of an embroidery hoop, fabric, heavy interfacing and a clock motion found at Hobby Lobby. I just love the way it turned out and how it brightens up my space!
I would love to see your space or a link to one that inspires you. Simple include the link with your comment so I can check it out!

Toddler Pranks
Yesterday while driving around running errands, my daughter was playing quietly in her car seat with her Lightning McQueen car. All of a sudden I heard her say, "here, here, here" which usually means she wants to hand me something.
We were almost at our destination so I asked her to wait until we came to a stop. Well, that was just not an acceptable answer and she yelled louder, "here mama, here!" Rather than argue with her, I reached to the back seat and she placed a very tiny piece of something in my hand.
Figuring it was just a crumb or something that she found on her car seat, I opened my hand to find a sticky little, off white colored ball about half the size of a pea. Confused, I asked her what it was. She responded with a giggle in her cute little toddler voice, "BOOGER!"
I'm just grateful that it ended up in my hand and not smeared somewhere or even worse, in her mouth. Bleugh! I'd love to hear some of the little "pranks" your children have played on you - kids do the darnedest things!

I need an excuse!
I came across this pretty little necklace a few days ago and haven't been able to get it out of my head. I'm trying to come up with a reason to buy it and figure out what I would have written on it.

The artist designed it to have your child's name imprinted on it if you have only one child, but as you know, I'm expecting number two, so that doesn't apply to me. I've thought of maybe putting my wedding date on it, or maybe an inspirational word or even simply my name. I doneed want an excuse to purchase it though, because it's been calling to me since I first laid eyes on it!
What have you found lately that you just can't get out of your mind and need and excuse to buy?
