Thirty Before Thirty

I'm turning 30 in a few months. Yikes.  So, I thought it would be fun to come up with a list of thirty things to do before that dreaded date. Ok, maybe not so dreaded. I'm actually kind of looking forward to turning 30 and putting my 20's behind me. I'm having a really hard time coming up with a list though, so I'm enlisting your help.

The only thing I've come up with so far is returning to my pre-baby shape. I've really been struggling with this, so that could be why I'm so stuck with the rest of my list. Who knows, maybe I'll do a series on weight loss and we can do it together. What do you think?

Anyway, back to my point, can you help me come up with a list of thirty or so things to do before I turn 30? It can be anything from thrill seeking to craft challenges. Just leave your ideas in a comment. This is a great time for you lurkers to come out from hiding. :) I'll do another post with the final list and keep you updated on my progress. This should be fun!

And, just so this post isn't without a photo, here is one of me and my husband on our wedding day. This photo was taken in the middle of the intersection of State and Madison in Chicago, the same place my husband proposed.  The address at that intersection is "1" and symbolizes our beginning and as my husband put it, "everything goes up from here" {the addresses progressively increase, the further you move from that point.}

  1. Your intersection story is so fun! And don't worry...30 isn't so bad. I hit it over a year ago and I still haven't grown up! LOL!

  2. Ooh! Good one! I turn 30 in a couple months, too, so...hmm. (some of these may not be your cup o' tea, but...they might be on my list)

    1) 1st triathlon
    2) Master pizza dough
    3) Get my 1st facial
    4) Surf
    5) Learn how to make paper
    6) Sell something I've made or written (you've done this, obviously...Etsy)
    7) Learn how to take better photos
    8) Finish my wedding quilt
    9) Wear the hot pink lipstick Sandra Bullock rocked out in public
    10) Perform a "random act of kindness"

I don't know...just a few things that popped in my mind. I'll quit taking up comment space.

  3. The list above is great! I am about to turn 25 and would love to be at my pre pregnancy weight before 25! Even though I'm going to have one more...

I'd love to master cake decorating and learn how to take better photos.

I'd also like to get photoshop and learn how to use it.

Good luck in making your list!

LOVE the picture of you and hubs!
