As promised, here are a few photos of my big girl on her first day of preschool. It went pretty well minus the minor emergency involving her favorite toy that couldn't be found this morning. Yeesh! Thankfully my husband came to the rescue and found it in T minus 2 minutes!

Things went pretty smooth when I dropped her off. I only choked up once! My husband was there, talking me down though. We'll see how I do by myself next Tuesday.

Evan starts on Sept 7th and I'm not ready!! I am so scared because he's never stayed anywhere without someone in our family(he won't even stay in the church nursery) SO, I'm pretty sure its going to be a disaster!!
Dee, have you been talking him up? I talked to my daughter about it daily, telling her all of the cool things she would get to do and how much fun it would be. Of course, if you sew, you could also whip up a special backpack to help get him excited.
